| There are around 11,000 businesses registered across the Cities of Cockburn and Melville; the challenge for the MCCC is ensuring it is known to these businesses as the premier hub for business information and engagement; an organisation of excellence in meeting the ever-changing needs of the business community in a proactive and responsive manner. This requirement to be responsive, timely and relevant means the MCCC is consistently reviewing its exiting services and initiating new ones.
As part of the MCCC standard reviewing processes every five year the Executive Committee undertakes a rigorous review of the previous five year plan and sets its strategic direction for the next five years. This process is currently underway with the new business plan due to be implemented by June 2010. | Strategic Relationships | The MCCC recognises the benefit of strategic relationships with like minded organisations. These relationships enable our membership to spread their networking net further. |

| New Web Site | Historically the MCCC website has been a mechanism for providing information about the MCCC. However, this new site, although it continues to provide this information, is designed to be an information hub for businesses of the Melville/Cockburn districts. |

| Online Business Directory | The Online Business Directory includes sponsor and member business logo, contact details, website link (if available) and a short business description. Sponsors have the added benefit of a 160x600 banner to right of the directory. |
