Celebrating the best of local business! The MCCC Business Awards celebrate and showcase the exceptional talent, innovation, and impact of local businesses and community contributors across the Cities of Melville and Cockburn. These awards recognise businesses and individuals who go above and beyond in their industries, demonstrate leadership in their communities, and contribute to a thriving local economy.

     The awards are open to:

    • Commercial businesses and not-for-profits (excluding registered charities).

    • Organisations located in or primarily servicing the Cities of Melville or Cockburn.

    • Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with 1 to 200 employees.

    • Nominees who agree to participate and be publicly profiled if selected as finalists.

    HOW TO NOMINATE:

    Nominations for the 2026 MCCC Business Awards are open to all eligible businesses either located or operating in the City of Cockburn and City of Melville. Businesses can nominate for one or more of the categories below, just click on the category and complete the online form. All category award winners will then be entered into the Business of the Year (Overall Excellence) Award, which will be awarded to the business with the highest total score across all categories entered, demonstrating excellence, leadership and community value.

    • Nominations: Anyone can nominate a business through a simple online form.

    • Official Nomination: Nominated businesses are invited to submit a detailed nomination addressing award criteria.

    • Supporting Information: Additional documentation may be requested to substantiate claims.

    • Judging Panel: Independent judges assess entries.

    • Assessment: Judging is based on clear criteria to ensure fairness, transparency, and credibility.
